Resumen

MOLFINO VIGO, Verónica  y  LEZAMA, Javier. Geometrical places: Their role in learning of the geometry demonstration. Educ. mat [online]. 2011, vol.23, n.1, pp.37-61. ISSN 1665-5826.

A research about geometry proof teaching and learning is presented. In particular, the rol played by proposing locus problems in such teaching is studied. On one side, we analyze the proof schemes that students exhibit when solving this type of problems, as well as the functions of proof that become explicit in their solving. A specific activity was designed and implemented for that purpose. On the other hand, such study allows concluding about the relevance of this type of problems as an appropriate strategy to develop proof practice and promote transition between different proof schemes.

Palabras llave : geometry proof; locus; argumentative practice.
