The article focuses itself in one of the intellectual catholic scenarios setted between 1900 and 1935 in the Diocese of Santa Fe, Argentina. The discourses content isn’t tackled, but the problematical relation between the catholic intellectual and the ecclesiastical authority. The strains originated in Santa Fe’s Church’s circuit of power are explored, from the reconstruction of some scenarios, but centered in the intervention of one of the actors in the plot.
