In this paper I analyze the incomes of federal administration between 1870 and 1930. Above all I focused in the changes (due to public finances’ reforms of Matías Romero and Alberto J. Pani) of the tributary structure and all the different trends of both the internal and external taxes in that time. Besides, I show the importance that exportations had in federal incomes and how was the developement of Mexican economy rested on those taxes.
