Since some twenty years ago, the way to understanding the collective properties has changed a lot. In this paper I study the french case, placing it inside the European frame because the comparison enriches the analysis. I present the interests around the collective properties in France, showing that the perspective has been renewed thanks to the efforts towards defining them with precision (legal situation, right of use, etc).
