Nowadays the cooling devices have a very important role in the daily life due to various factors that make them useful and necessary, to mention some of them we can say that they are used to conserve foods and medicines, on the other hand for our interest, in the area of the microelectronics the cooling is necessary because the electronic devices should work under good conditions of temperature. For this reason we have to develop theories that help us to understand the thermoelectric phenomena and to reach a deep knowledge of the theoretical (well-known as basic science) part or physical principles that govern the thermoelectric phenomena. In this work, a study of the two temperatures model (electrons and phonons) is carried out. Considering the effect Peltier, the equations of energy balance and heat for the phonons and electrons subsystems, together with the appropriate boundary conditions, are used to calculate the temperature distributions for electrons and phonons within the lineal approach.
