Resumen

ROSTAN ROBLEDO, Andrea; GARCIA MARTINEZ, Bardo Javier  y  SANCHEZ BASILIO, Cuitláhuac Ernesto. The workshops of ReDiERAA: a strategy for the professionalization of editors of scientific journals. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2016, vol.16, n.72, pp.75-93. ISSN 1665-2673.

The individuals who work in the editorial field, particularly in the academic sector, are a collective that must carry out a wide range of tasks. A large part of this sector lacks the necessary support of their area or institution. To emphasize this lack of information, the UNAM Network of Directors and Editors of Academic and Reviewed Journals (ReDiERAA, in Spanish) was created in 2013. Its tasks focused on different purposes, such as supporting, communicating, but above all professionalizing the editors that comprise this network. In other words, it is a support network among editors. The present paper intends to demonstrate the efforts of the Coordination of Workshops of the ReDiERAA, which has supported the technical training of editors. The relevance of this topic is important, given the growing need and variety of the public, both within the UNAM and in other institutions.
