One of the important fields of application of the linear regression and the correlation is that of the teaching in the middle school. This work is proposed to do a didactic analysis following the approach proposed by Fernández, Monroy and Rodríguez in the book Design, development and evaluation of problematic situations of statistics, where they carry out a study from three perspectives: the content, the teaching and the learning. In function of the analysis, diverse situations of teaching are shown, that can be useful to carry out in the classrooms, in a joint way with the students.
