Resumen

MARTINEZ LOBATOS, Lilia. Currículo y vinculación: Una relación socioeducativa aplazada para la formación profesional. Sinéctica [online]. 2014, n.43, pp.01-21. ISSN 2007-7033.

The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) implemented non-conventional forms of learning called Linking Projects with Value in Credits, aimed toward the achievement of best social-educational relations. In the stage of initial exploration it was found that the majority of these projects are related with engineering. This article is derived from a partial report of a quantitative research: a survey applied in 2011 to students enrolled in the terminal stages of the curricula of the UABC. The overall objective was to analyze the opinion of the student on the study programs, practical skills, and the impact on their training. The question to be answered was: What is the UABC student's opinion on their formation processes for the real-world? Students acknowledge practical contents as relevant and pertaining to real-world scenarios. They recognize the practical contents in the curricula. However, this is insufficient for their placement in the professional world. The concern of training in external environments remains a postponed issue; an issue to be met with new and old concepts, toward a practice with greater awareness and reflection.

Palabras llave : curriculum; linkage; vocational training.
