Abstract

We present a series of reflections aimed to discuss that school safety is an issue that can be primarily considered as an educational one. It is through the school's structure and organization and the work within it, that we can understand the decision and actions of the various stakeholders that are involved in it: students, teachers, administrators and parents. Our conclusions and findings focus on analyzing the strategies developed in other countries to prevent and address violence at schools. We underscore what actions are possible and must be launch from the school to prevent violence.
