Abstract

This article presents the findings of a qualitative research. It describes the ways in which students in a computer science class mediate peer learning. The emphasis of the research was in the identification of mediational actions done by students, types of mediation and the conditions that made possible the occurrence of such mediations as well as implications for teachers in terms of what they can do to allow or to foster this modality of mediation of learning.
