This article looks into the results of a national survey carried out by the magazine Nexos. We analyze the main traits of "today's university students "which respond to the individualism of the postmodern culture. These university students only pursue their individual and family welfare. In our closing statements we present some approaches to educate our modern students, these include: work with history, culture within unions, and student self-awareness to construct a critical ethical approach, among others.
