The following article intends to address the recent processes of organizing the “excluded” in the key of popular economy in Argentina. We are interested in punctually stopping in the modalities acquired by the demand for the recognition as a trade union actor of the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy that brings together a group of social organizations that emerged in the heat of the resistance of the neoliberal outpost during the 1990s in this country. We inquire there the ways in which the claims and demands of the organizations nucleated in the Confederation stress with different views around the institutions of the world of work.

The proposed analysis is framed in the results of a qualitative investigation, which articulates the observation of the daily scale, with in-depth interviews, the documentary collection and the public voices.
