SANTIAGO NABOR, Eduardo. "Every house is a Factory": Productive Orientation, Women that Produce and State Projects. Answers from Home. Desacatos [online]. 2011, n.35, pp.115-130. ISSN 2448-5144.

We analyze the case of a small ejido that developed a productive orientation project, specifically directed to the milk-cheese production. In this process, the role of women was fundamental, in order to position significantly inside of a productive chained process that responds to the market changes and to the agricultural policies of the Mexican government. The contents of such responses were founded on the intern dynamics of the households and on the local commercial and sociocultural relationships. Such setting allows the proposition of the analytical category of women that produce. Overall, this paper raises an analysis strategy about the productive relationships, the role of women, the field policies and the productive history of small localities.
