Resumen
NUNEZ NORIEGA, Guillermo. Reconociendo los placeres, desconstruyendo las identidades: Antropología, patriarcado y homoerotismos en México. Desacatos [online]. 2001, n.6, pp.15-35. ISSN 2448-5144.
In Anthropology a dominant model exists to explain homoerotic relations among males. The author refers to it in Spanish as MDCH (Modelo Dominante de Comprensión del Homoerotismo). This model has been constructed upon the binomial concepts “penetrator-penetrated”, “active-passive”, “dominant-dominated”, and is inadequate to understand the huge variety of the erotic perspectives among males; in fact, it becomes an obstacle to its comprehension and study. With the fieldwork undertaken in Hermosillo and in the Sierra de Sonora, Núñez Noriega ilustrates his criticism of this model. He suggests studying the categories included in the MDCH with the purpose of under- standing their role in the organization of homophobic pathriarcal tecnologies, as well as their influence in intimate erotic encounters.
