The crisis of historical violence in Colombia has motivated the need to advance in the dogmatic construction of the meaning of peace and its implications for Colombian constitutional law. In order to deepen on peace in Colombia will be considered the Kantian theory of Perpetual Peace, the advance of the perspective of the content of peace as a right from the international field, the debate of peace as a collective right or fundamental in the Colombian legal order, and the application of the right to peace in the final peace agreement with the FARC-EP and in transitional justice in Colombia; allowing to consider the observance of peace as a norm of fundamental right in the Colombian constitutional culture.
