Resumen

This paper, as a result of an empirical research, analyzes "the local constituí ional justice", that is to say, the jurisdictional activity that local constitutional courts carry out to adjudicate constitutional disputes. Its purpose is to respond the following questions: ¿what "level of efft ciency" and "efficacy" is observed on local constitutional courts' activity through final judgments?, ¿are these levels reasonable?, if not so ¿is necessary to make some changes about it, and what kind of changes would be those? On the other hand, ¿what do these data tell us about the future of local constitutional justice? and, therefore, ¿is there any "competition" between the local constitution justice and the federal constitution justice or, simply, the local justice complements the federal justice?.
