The traditional concept of territory as one of the constitutives elements of a State-Nation has been changing. The author analyses territory from its political and legal configuration, and also from its economic perspective when exploiting its natural resources. Living beings should be included in the analyse because they are part of the State biodiversity, what could provoke a significant change in the classic conception of territory.
