This paper analyzes the impact of the 2016 Comprehensive Tariff Review of natural gas on Argentinian residential sector. To do this, we investigated the variations in expenditure on natural gas over total household expenditure and the consumption of said fuel between 2012-2013 and 2017-2018 at two territorial scales (national and provincial), using information from the National Household Expenditure Survey and ENARGAS. Results show notable increases in the incidence of natural gas expenditure on total expenditure and reductions in the average consumption of this vector at both scales.
