This article haim to present a general overview since a theoretical analysis about the abuse of elderly people from one of his representative ways which is the social abandonment, to provide substantives and qualitative data. It´s a performed law exegesis interpretation to fathom the legal mechanism of protection in the state of Mexico, and that tools which punish this actions. It´s defined the meaning and way to understand the homeless problem, also which are the characteristics of the people who live in this condition. Furthermore, explains the social conditions that push the people to live in a homeless situation. Some of these are creation of stereotypes, social exclusion, and stigma.
