This article describes the changes in the social structure of labor occurred in Argentina from the highest spot in economic growth of the neoliberal 90s, the socioeconomic crisis of 2001 and 2002, and the still continuing process of growth with heterodox politics. Changes in the composition of the work force concerning sector inscription (formal, informal and public) and quality of the employment (stable, precarious and marginal) are compared, along with the impact of the crisis of the social regime of accumulation on the income differences. The authors discuss the depth of the changes and the feasibility of the beginning of a new regime hypothesis since year 2003.
