The demographic transition of the academic bodies of UAEM is analyzed, specifically showing the gradual ageing observed in the academia, by means of the median age. The displayed data and indicators allow identifying the future faced by labor and academic challenges from the aging of UAEM's academia. It also presents some experiences previously took by the public Universities of the country about the pension demand and its repercussion on budgets.
