Abstract

GONZALEZ-BECERRIL, Juan Gabino. Comparative study of the labor insertion of Latin American qualified migrants in the United States, 1990-2000. Pap. poblac [online]. 2009, vol.15, n.61, pp.169-194. ISSN 2448-7147.

A study on labor insertion of Latin American qualified worker immigrants between 1990 and 2000; the researched in based on a sample of five percent of the US Population Census and takes as a referent those born in the United States and India. The labor insertion of qualified immigrants by means of comparative determination is evaluated; in the explanation of this phenomenon aspects of human capital, demographic and context are taken into account. By means of the application of logistic regression models the probability of labor insertion is described.
