The aim of this paper is to show that the particular characteristics of women's domestic and extra-domestic work are due to the social condition they experienced -specifically household and family relations. Their condition influences the meaning they attribute to their domestic and extra-domestic work. With this research is possible to study how women construct their "subjectivity" and how they revalue their work vis-à-vis their personal objectives in life.
