The present work seeks to make a revision and to analyze the responsibility that carries out the Program of Education, Health and Feeding (Progresa) focused to the creation of possibilities that can be increasing empowerment features in the beneficiaries women of the program, starting from the three-dimensional pattern of Rowlands. It is a case of study carried out in a community of the High ones of Chiapas. The study rotates around the current discussion regarding political public with gender perspective, combat to poverty and like it has left articulating the empowerment processes in the beneficiaries. The analysis of the results was carried out contrasting the basis of sustenance of the program with the dimensional triad of Rowlands and the features that increase the empowerment.
