The article points that, in face of the administration change in our country and in face of the millennium change, it is an important moment to meditate and to revise the demographic estimates, in order to contribute elements to establish the future demographic image of Mexico. The analysis and birth evolution, component that has been submited to a regulation of its level on the part of the State, has special interest. Due to the high number of late registrations and to the multiple birth registrations, the estimates of the natural growth components have been carried out, lately, from surveys, that of course, are subject to a sampling error, because of the estimate has a variation range that depends on the size of the sample, of the variance and of the truthfulness level established.
