This study analyzes the habits and opinions of students in the last year of secondary school, regarding privacy on social networks. For this purpose, 1,144 adolescents answered a questionnaire about the data they spread on social networks, their behavior related to the terms of use of these tools, and their degree of concern about shared personal information. The results show that the female students spread more information than the male students. Also revealed was that the lower the academic performance, the lower the degree of concern, and that this phenomenon is more common among the female students. The need for privacy training and intimacy education as a component of digital literacy is evident.

Palabras llave : social networks; secondary education; adolescence; digital literacy; privacy.
