Resumen

This article addresses the pedagogical leadership of school administration, which is considered a factor of educational improvement. Through a case study of the administration of five schools in impoverished areas, the study focuses on the ability to develop pedagogical leadership. Semi-structured interviews were used to compile opinions. The process of structuring the information employed the technique of content analysis. As a result, categories emerged that represent the ability to develop pedagogical leadership. The categories were assigned indexes of frequency that were represented on graphs. In conclusion, grounded theory reflects the narrative that interprets the study results.
