Teacher education in Latin America needs to reflect a society that increasingly recognizes the cultural, linguistic, and territorial diversity that is present in the region. The study used dialogical-kishu kimkelay ta che research, conforming a community of in-service teachers, teacher educators, institutional designers, and student teachers. The results reveal the profound differences between the two proposals and among the groups of actors in teacher education, with regard to topics involving indigenous culture and language, vulnerability, adversity, student teacher supervisors, and student teaching.
