The objective of the study we are presenting was to analyze the possible differences between the literacy practices of mothers and teachers who had taken part in an intervention program. The study also focused on the effects on students' linguistic skills. The participants were thirty children in the third year of preschool, ten of their mothers, and three of their teachers. A pre- and post-evaluation design was used, with two experimental groups and one control group. The results indicate the effects of the intervention program on mothers and teachers, and differences between the experimental groups and the control group (duration of activity (U= 0.000, z= -2.550, p < 0.05, r= -0.19), and narration of stories (U= 5.000, z= -2.687, p < 0.05, r= -0.20)). The students whose teachers participated in the program showed better performance.
