INOSTROZA, Fabián A.. Critical Discourse Analysis regarding the Notion of Students with Learning Difficulties, in the Framework of a Scholastic Integration Project in a Municipal School in Chile. RMIE [online]. 2015, vol.20, n.66, pp.941-958. ISSN 1405-6666.

The purpose of this article is to present the analysis of educational agents' discourse regarding the notion of students with learning difficulties. The research design is qualitative, employing interviews as the technique for collecting information. The analysis reveals that the notion of students with learning difficulties corresponds to individuals with a biological defect, in addition to low academic achievement associated with a lack of teacher preparation and family support for education. The final discussion reflects on the implications of the static and essential comprehension of students with learning difficulties.
