GREGORI-GIRALT, Eva  e  MENENDEZ-VARELA, José-Luis. The Perception of Fine Arts Students Regarding Learning in Settings of Problem Based Learning. RMIE [online]. 2015, vol.20, n.65, pp.481-506. ISSN 1405-6666.

Problem Based Learning is a form of teaching that is fitting for education based on competencies. The group work, problem solving, autonomous learning, and critical thinking attributed to Problem Based Learning are necessary skills in any university degree. The design of problems presents particular difficulties, on which the educational effectiveness of Problem Based Learning primarily depends. This empirical study compiles, at four different moments during the semester, the opinions of new students in the Fine Arts degree program, with regard to their learning in a setting of Problem Based Learning. The results indicate a positive general evaluation and the view that the didactic setting encouraged the established learning in the subject. However, the students showed less clear awareness of previously mentioned, specific learning from Problem Based Learning.
