Abstract

GUTIERREZ, José  and  PRIOTTO, Guillermo. Estudio de caso: sobre un modelo latinoamericano de desarrollo curricular descentralizado en Educación Ambiental para la Sustentabilidad. RMIE [online]. 2008, vol.13, n.37, pp.529-571. ISSN 1405-6666.

This article is the result of a case study based on the historical reconstruction of environmental training for sustainability, promoted by the Confederation of Workers in Education in the Argentine Republic (Confederación de Trabajadores de la Educación de la República Argentina-CTERA). The training has been in existence for almost two decades and has generated a socio-professional movement of active commitment to environmental problems in the twenty-three Argentine provinces. The text responds to policy issues in union training, and studies some of the reasons administrative groups insert environmental problems into the union's policy strategies. Lastly, the article analyzes the way training is articulated into practice, as well as the underlying conception of Environmental Education for Sustainability (EApS).

Keywords : unionism; teacher training; environmental education; evaluation; Argentina.
