Resumen

AGUILAR JAUREGUI, María Elena et al. Luminescence Properties of Nanomaterials. Comp. y Sist. [online]. 2022, vol.26, n.3, pp.1137-1142.  Epub 02-Dic-2022. ISSN 2007-9737.  https://doi.org/10.13053/cys-26-3-4148.

Undoped and CeCl2-doped ZnS nanomaterials were prepared at room temperature by a chemical synthesis method. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms a cubic crystal structure of zinc and the estimated size of the nanocrystals is in the range of 2-3 nm on average. Scanning electron microscopy observation shows a non-homogeneous structure due to the agglomeration of the nanomaterial. The characterization of PL indicates the high intensity of luminescence in the doped nanoparticles, so the application of this new nanomaterial in the medical and optoelectronic areas is possible.
