Population parameters of the Acanthoscelides obtectus weevil were estimated using the methodology of life and fertility tables, in presence of the OTI variety Phaseolus vulgaris bean, with the objective of understanding whether it is susceptible or resistant to the attack by the insect mentioned, in storage conditions. Based on the results, it was concluded that the variety has resistance to the attack by A. obtectus.
