Abstract

The type specimens of 408 vascular plant species described from the Barranca of Guadalajara and from Rio Blanco, Jalisco, Mexico, are listed. General information such as scientific name, author, collector, collector number, collection date, original publication and herbarium of deposition are given. The general methods of the main collectors and the current status of the vegetation of the area are described.
