Abstract

This article aims to show the results of the performance of three surveys among the students of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at three different moments, 2005, 2006 and 2009, to conduct a longitudinal study designed to show the students' perception on the Institutional Program of Academic Tutelage, currently developed in the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. In order to carry out this endeavor, we have to define what tutelage is, as well as the objectives pursued, the actors involved in the program, its development and also produce a diagnosis that allows us to identify the advantages and disadvantages of applying ProInsTA, as well as implementing intervention strategies that foster quality tutelage of students in the three majors of the faculty.
