Abstract

This article analyzes how journalism professors at Colombian universities use ICT in the teaching process. This analysis is based on the results obtained during 2009 from 63 professors affiliated with journalism departments at 29 universities that belong to the Colombian Association of Journalism Departments and University Programs. The results allow us to conclude that, in the present time, the professors have a low level of contact and use around ICT resources, which can be influencing in the reduction of the possibilities of acquisition of ability that many new professionals of communication and journalism require at present.
