One of the social effects of modernization is, without a doubt, the transformation of the process through which peers are linked with the group they belong to. Indeed, the collective identity that supposed the imposition and transmission of cultural features of a group; in the current social context, where subjects are attached to diverse groups, the construction of the sense of belonging is hindered, as the individuals through their multiple daily interactions, select the cultural repertoires that respond to their interests and personal aspirations, as well as to the social demands; in such a way that the collective identity, becomes a subjective and changing construction.
