This work describes the trasition of a agrarian lider at thirtieth into local boss at fifties of XX century and the reason of his defeat. This case exemplifies the difficulties of the land reform in the Bajío and explains also the distorsion of the govermental project of ejido. Y would like to contribute to the study of the agrarian reform and offer my reflection about the system of dominance by the local boss as a form of social and political relaciones that still exist in the mexican country.
