The objective of this paper is to reflect on the Catholic Church's answer to modernity through the Movement of Charismatic Renewal in the Holy Ghost; appearing in the years following Vatican Council II, this movement is represented by the catholic hierarchy as a modernization sign of the Church. However, in the practice it is not more than a new form of preserving the ruling tradition in Catholicism. In this exercise I use the boundary category to point out that threshold which joins and not the limit which divides.
