In the present work, a detailed revision of a series of classification systems from the most concerned countries which have become interested in the improvement of the quality aspects of the media contents is carried out. On this, the standard system of classification is confronted with that being worked with in Mexico and, in the last part of the work some challenges we still have to face in order to have better classification systems are proposed.
