The Specialized Dictionary on Family and Gender is developed; it gathers the social sciences and terminology, in order to carry out tasks like: bibliographical research, terminological track, harmonization and validation of a system of concepts that compiles the terms used by the disciplines that analyze the topic of family and the gender, with the purpose of creating a unified space and a specialized language of latin scope, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and information. This is an interdisciplinary research (social work, sociology, terminology and translation), inter-institutional (University of Antioquia and Ikala) and inter-sector (Government Institution and a non-government). There is not a work in spanish, the Dictionary is pioneer and contributes to produce knowledge and to interchange among professionals, in stitutions and community, that work and research on family and gender.
