This paper focuses on the stories of five Indian women from Cauca, Colombia. It not only emphasizes on feminine voices and subjectivities, but also reveals the dilemmas and crossroads women endure on their everyday lives even though they don’t aban don neither their hopes nor their dreams. Moreover, it shows how their emotional and social constructions allow them to survive in the midst of barbarism, and how they con tribute through words to visualize, reshape and provide a context to the feminine thought in Colombia.
