The object of this work is to quantify a productive infrastructure indicator in physical units, which includes the main categories (transport, telecommunication and public provision of water, power energy and drainage), through the weighted sum of these aspects following the multivariate analysis. The estimated indicator makes it possible to prove that the federal entities with most of the infrastructures belong to the zones that exhibit an important economic growth.
