BUJ, Joseba. Displacements Towards a Negative Ethos: the Migrant Poetics of Sara Uribe in Antigona González. Hist. graf [online]. 2019, n.53, pp.13-52.  Epub 10-Dez-2019. ISSN 1405-0927.

The article takes as a starting point the works Antígona González by Sara Uribe and Los niños perdidos by Valeria Luiselli, which are described as displacement narratives. Taking into account that, in both works, the mimesis of the historical process of displacement is not implemented from a system of historiographic representation but literary, the article theorizes the relationship between both genres of representation. It gives notice of something that is evident, through the models that the historiographical turn has developed in recent years: the common origin of both genres of discursive mimesis and its manifest link; but also tries to account for the hermeneutical need to build their difference. Thus, the article theorizes, in the face of contemporary migration processes rooted in a growing precarization of life in the Global South, the urgent need for a progressive incidence of negativity in the artistic mimesis of historical/material processes, because of this negativity it can critically articulate the violence of the affirmative character of culture (growing in historiographical representations) at the time of producing rhetorical processes of representation of “truth” and of historical/material production of “reality”. This article will inform, then, that through strategies, above all, the work of Sara Uribe manages to disarticulate: 1) the invisibilizing representations of the “truth” of culture; 2) the ontotheological and communitarian rhetoric subjacent to these representations; 3) the links of these representations with the generation of a subjectivity, particularly docile to the dynamics of late capital.
