Abstract

ZERMENO PADILLA, Guillermo. Revolution: Between Historical And Mythical Time. Hist. graf [online]. 2015, n.45, pp.57-94.  Epub Nov 22, 2019. ISSN 1405-0927.

The thesis of the present work is simple: every concept defines its identity from a double difference: on the one hand semantics or diachrony that claims a before and an after; on the other hand, the structure and synchrony that claims a game of opposites. In the same way, the evolution of the term history (which is by all means the bearer of temporality) stems its identity from a double difference: temporal difference, this means, the conversion from a particular to an universal, and structural difference between myth and history.

Keywords : concept; revolution; time; difference; myth.
