Abstract

SALINAS, Eleazar et al. Factores que afectan el crecimiento de partículas de jarosita de amonio argentífera sintética. Rev. Soc. Quím. Méx [online]. 2002, vol.46, n.1, pp.67-72. ISSN 0583-7693.

This work is related to the growth of argentian ammonium jarosite particles. According this, seeds recycling of ammonium jarosite was studied testing several experimental factors such as; pH variation (1.2-2.0), rate and type of stirring [magnetic 1250 s-1 and mechanical (235-566 s-1)] and seedtime ["as-synthesized" and marked off sizes]. The most important results found indicated that the best conditions for the growth of these particles corresponded to a pH of 1.8 and mechanical stirring (235 s-1), getting so sizes up to 53 µm.

Keywords : Ammonium jarosite; particle growth; particle sizes.
