The art of medicine is as old as the very origin of life, it has been implicit in many cultures around the world, beginning in each of them as a magical-religious concept, and evolving over the centuries, and the presence of great characters in different moments and cultures, with the contribution of knowledge and techniques that today have consolidated medicine as a science that has transcended and has been perfected over the centuries to give rise to each of the specialties that we currently know, all of them equally important and essential among themselves.
