The successful synthesis of two propionates Naproxen and Ibuprofen of the tricyclic terpenic phenol cacalol (Naproxen-cacalol and Ibuprofen-cacalol) is reported. Their NMR data, preliminary anti-inflammatory and analgesic evaluations, and molecular modelling are described.
