Abstract

CARDENAS GARCIA, Nicolás  and  GUERRA MANZO, Enrique. From revolutionaries to legislators. The political process of the Constituent Congress of 1916-1917. Polít. cult. [online]. 2017, n.48, pp.9-36. ISSN 0188-7742.

Despite of different restrictions that had the Constituent Congress 1916-1917, in few weeks became an autonomous Legislative Assembly. The Leaders of distinct groups did aside their personal loyalties to thinking as representatives of the nation and Mexican people. Thus, they could deliberate intensely, freely, and collectively about a future project of nation beyond Venustiano Carranza’s project. Its politics power derived from a kind of group’s charisma, granted inside political revolutionary field, as expression of the popular sovereignty.
